I?ve never used this place, but I wouldn?t personally have anything to do with a place run by Dr. Lee Garrod. She is also the ?brains? behind the Emergency Veterinary Critical Care center in Newington/Portsmouth. I have yet to find some body (who doesn?t work there) who doesn?t have a horror story to share about the trip to the emergency hospital. Oyster River did have a great reputation. However, interestingly all the ?old staff? - left. Just like most of the good vets at Garrod?s emergency hospital. She is about as warm-hearted as an iceberg. She touts around her ?diplomate? status and boy does she make sure her picture gets into all the brochures for her facilities. They should run a picture of the animals who have died there after being improperly treated or misdiagnosed at her "critical care" center.
