As assistant manager and over store security at Yours Truly, I am saddened by the lack of understanding by so many in our efforts to protect over 14,000 consigners who entrust us with their belongings. The ""No Purse Policy"" was a temporary measure implemented to curb the shoplifting epidemic that had gotten out of hand in the store. It was drastic but necessary until other measures could be taken. The policy has since been removed and I applaud the owner for investing so much of her time and money in order to continue to protect the consigners items but make it a more enjoyable shopping experience for all. A store security person has been hired for peak days and hours, camera's have been installed, and staff has been increased and trained in security precautions. To those of you offended by the No Purse Policy I encourage you to give Yours Truly another try. I would hate to think you are missing out on the joys of shopping in such a wonderful place. P.S. Clothes are still arranged by color but also by size now too. :)
