This little family owned and operated BBQ cabin has the best tasting BBQ I have ever eaten. Simple, quality BBQ with a taste that makes me want to drive the four hours just to visit. I have eaten alot of BBQ and Old Souths is just simple and good. No overpowering sauces or spices just pork that stands on its own flavor. The prices are a little high and portions could be a bit larger - but the taste is spot on. The place is not fancy and has stood the test of time but after all I am there for the food not the frills. I had the pulled BBQ pork sandwich that was excellent. Definitely worth the off the beaten path drive from the interstate - your mouth will thank you.
Pros: Pure taste! No pretentiousness here.
Cons: Little pricey for portion size.
