So, Grand Canal is your typical sports bar. Its near the Garden and lots of other sports pub type places on Canal Street. Nothing to necessarily write home about, right? Oh, my dear, so wrong.
Grand Canal has a ridiculous patio that makes it SO much better than your typical sports bar. Who cares if the food is average pub fare when you can sit on their $$ deck and bask in the sunshine? The drinks are priced average for the area and they?ve got a decent beer selection. Bonus: for some reason this bar is never as crowded as the other Canal street haunts on game days so you can soak up some sun, get your booze on, and still make it to your game on time.
Pros: the patio, proximity to T and the Garden
