So I've attended to 2 different community colleges, one for random meaningless classes and the other to get my Emergency Medical Technician cert. Now I am currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician course at WCC San Jose working towards that as well as getting my associates at the same time. And yeah, the price may dissuade you from attending, but think about it...At community colleges the classes are cheaper ($20-$200 or so) but then add up the cost of uniforms, books, supplies, etc and also to get both an associates AND a degree in whatever you may be studying, you're looking at a pretty high price and it takes years to accomplish your goal. At WCC all thats included! Scrubs and books for every class are covered and you'll be getting GE and a degree in whichever field you may be going into. And it's a one time type cost, not like pay each time for each course, it's all laid out for you there at the very beginning. Not to mention it takes a LOT less time to achieve your goal at W
