Schaefers' is a great place to go if you deal with the right person. I agree that the boss is a little difficult to work with and most people at the store have been less than helpful. They seem to choose to avoid customers at times. However, there is one diamond in the rough. The head pool and spa technician has always been willing to go the extra mile to help me out. He knows exactly what he's talking about and is extremely patient. He has even dropped what he was doing to help me and is even knowledgable on the stoves. He seems to know more than the guy in charge of stoves and treated me like I actually mattered. I am a paying customer after all! I think they could do much better if there were a few more employees like Eric - I believe that was his name. He has great advice for pools and spas and has even offered me ways to save on things I can handle myself. It's not all bad! If you leave a message, just be VERY specific, ask them to write it down and you will be fine.
