This doctor's office is absolutely terrible! I took my boys to an 8:45 appt. last Tuesday. We arrived at 8:40 at the same time as the front desk girl. She looked right at us as we were approaching the door. She unlocked the back door and went in and ate her breakfast with the nurses for 10 minutes while I was locked outside in 40 degree weather with two sick kids - 2 and 3 years old! I finally had to look in the window to get their attention because my 3 yr. old had to use the restroom. They acted completely annoyed with me and I could overhear them complaining about me interrupting their breakfast!! The front desk girl came and unlocked the door and walked away w/o an apology or even a word. When I attempted to discuss my frustration with the dr, I was completely ignored. This is not my first issue with this office. We have waited over an hour each visit. Dr. Thomson doesn't come in until 11:00 each day. We really liked him at first so I scheduled an appt. with him at 11:00 one time even though I knew it was close to nap time. I had two kids under 2 waiting until 12:30! When I asked the other staff what was going on, they acted like I was high maintenance. Dr. Thomson finally arrived just as we were about to leave and said that he was at home and had lost track of time. This staff is so unprofessional. The girl at the front desk is unbelievably rude and doesn't even bother to answer the phone until 30 minutes after they are supposed to open. No one seems to care if you make a complaint and obviously will not apologize for anything. I had decided to change pediatricians during our last visit and after reading the other reviews here and seeing the very scary medical mistakes that they make, I am so glad to be leaving. This is an awful practice. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Please do not take your children here - you will definitely regret it!! I am a first grade teacher and will tell all of my teacher friends and my students' parents that they should avoid this office completely.
