We've been going to this little restaurant on Elden Street in Herndon for years... Incredible blend of fantastic food...I always start with the "Mixed Salad"... tried it by accident and couldn't believe what was presented...4 separate little treats..a REAL live German Potato salad... I don't want to ruin the surprise...but you HAVE to try it... the menu is varied, my last main dish was Swedish Meatballs with Spatzel.... comfort food on a cold night... Perfect ! The sauce was incredible and the portion ...a bit too large for me, (saved at least half of it for lunch the next day) & splurged for the Apple Strudel with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream...the staff is quiet, friendly and efficient... certainly one of the hidden gems of NOVA.
