Well, I hope you don't mind sweating like a rodent in the summer heat and that you planned a good 5 hours for your meal. I am warm-natured, and can't stand to be overly hot in an atmosphere that should be relaxing and comfortable. Both times I've been to this place, it had to have been 80+ degrees in there, probably mostly due to all the other people crammed into a space the size of a bedroom.
So inadequate air conditioning is just where it starts. Every request takes an extremely long time because of inadequate wait staff. Drinks, appetizers, etc. all take a crazy long time. But entrees are ridiculous, taking a couple hours both visits I was there. All this was while my drink stayed empty and sweat beads were forming a little stream down my rib cage and square into my pants.
The reason for 2 stars is that the food has been pretty damn good both times. But I don't really care how good the food is if I'm tortured for hours leading up to it. I admit, I'm not ""refined"" enough to have travelled the world like some of the other reviewers and been able to parade down the streets of Europe with my dainty parasol, but I have a pretty good idea that Germany knows of the concept of A/C and how to implement it!
