My brother really likes his helper, Chuck. I think they do really okay by my brother...they come by twice a week and they take my brother for walks and Chuck is kind of a guardian, a former military guy, and seems to help my brother along okay. Sometimes he doesn't come because of inconsistent funding paperwork. There have been other helpers that just come and go...it's difficult to keep someone there when they don't pay any money at all.
Pros: Get's my brother out of the group home
Cons: Services come off and on because of lack of funding
