I researched Wedding Dress Restoration on the internet and asked some friends if they heard of anywhere to get a dress restored. My mother just passed away in December and I wanted to wear her wedding dress from 1966 at my August wedding. Unfortunately they didn't know how to preserve dresses and box them properly back then so when I opened up the box, the dress was a nice shade of TAN. The internet and friends pointed me to Meurice and from the moment I walked in the store I knew I brought my mothers dress to the right place. They made me feel very comfortable leaving something that meant so much to me in the hands of strangers and I could not wait to see what it would look like after restoration. Marc from Meurice was in constant contact via email with me and I felt like he was my personal friend walking me through this process. The dress only took 2 weeks to go from Tan to GEORGOUS. My friends joined me as I tried the dress on and I looked ready to walk down the aisle, or the back of the dry cleaning store. I felt and looked great and I just knew my mom would have loved seeing me in that white dress of hers. I am so appreciative of Marc and the crew over at Meurice. I felt like I had been a customer there for many years and I will definately be going back, so I probably will be!
