This is the first time I felt 'threatened' when I try to negotiate for a membership fee. I asked politely if I can get a better deal on the fee, and turned down quickly. The manager told me that if I walked out the door right now, I would not get this deal and will send an email to all LA fitness in the area NOT to welcome me (or to blacklist me). He even showed me the email. When I said this is too much for me, he deliberately told the sales person to send the email so that I could hear him said that. HORRENDOUS!
