I went to the Long Lake Animal Hospital for my very first visit. I was told to be there between 9:00 am., and 10:00 am. I was one of the first people to arrive there. I waited in my vehicle with the car running because of the frigid temperatures. Other people started to show up and form a line at the front door. (apparently we all had an appointment for the exact same time). I was a minute or two before 9:00, so I got out with my cat to join the crowd. Needless to say, we stood there in the bitter cold at 9:00, 9:05, 9:10, 9:15, etc. NO ONE SHOWED UP TO OPEN UP THE FRONT DOOR!!!! I don't know about you, but I get to work before my scheduled time to get set up and in place. There were people in line with little dogs, big dogs, cats, all shivering from the cold!!! I looked at my cat in her carrier, (SHAKING FROM THE COLD) , and decided this place no matter how reasonable the costs are, is not the place for me or my pet. If this is how they treat people and animals, I want no part of this place. There is no consideration, and no professionalism. It looked like a low cost backroom puppy mill. Sure, I am going to another vet, which more than likely will cost me twice the amount that this place was going to charge, but at least I know my cat will get the best of care. With this place, I don't know that if after I dropped my cat off for spaying, that she would be alive the next day when I came to pick her up. I think this place is under the impression that since they have low prices, that people will put up with anything. WRONG!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHATSOEVER!!!!
Pros: Cost
Cons: Service, Service, Service. Unprofessional and unacceptable
