I also went to Dr. Juncosa after being unhappy with my previous GYN. I am, like the previous patient, also extremely overweight. During my visit to his office, Dr. Juncosa professionally and nicely explained at length to me the possible complications of my obesity. At no time was he rude or disrespectful at all. He mentioned the weight struggles of many of his own relatives. In fact, I found him to be more reassuring, pleasant, and interested in my health that any other provider. His office is extremely welcoming, cozy, and patient friendly. His staff is superb. My waiting time at the office is usually less than 45 mins, compared to up to three hours at other GYN offices. Many times overweight people take ANY comments about their weights the wrong way, but I felt compelled to write about Dr. Juncosa's special interest in his patients after reading the previous comment. I will strongly recommend Dr. Juncosa and his staff to all my friends. He is a gem as his loyal patients well know.
