I've been straightening my hair for years and have had both ""name-brand"" and no-name Japanese straighteners used. I've also had them done in crazy posh expensive salons and small shops in the various places I've lived and have come to the conclusion that the most important part is the stylist! I had friends back home telling me about the Brazilian Keratin Treatment and was interested in trying a new straightener. After searching the web, I found Eleni at Pearl and booked a consultation. Unfortunately, I don't have the ideal hair type for the Brazilian and wasn't going to get to try it. I was however, really comfortable with Eleni and booked a traditional Japanese style straightener. She was meticulous without being painfully slow AND my hair is in the best condition it has been in for a very long time. I have no idea what brand she used; I only know that this girl knows how to straighten hair!!!
Pros: Everyone is really friendly and they called back quickly.
Cons: no receptionist
