What used to be a comparatively run-down cinema with torn screens and squeaky seats has been renovated beautifully. There is new carpet in the lobby, screens have been repaired, and the seats have leather and high backs--very comfortable--but the ticket price is still lower than cinemas in Lafayette--only SIX DOLLARS for adults. It might not be as big as other cinemas--the lobby is small and there are only 4 screens, but I find that size has very little to do with quality. The employees are always very kind and helpful as well. There is absolutely no need to make the drive to Lafayette if the movie you want to see is at Lafitte.
