Alcamo's has been my family's favorite Dearborn/Detroit food store since I was a child. I now live in Richmond, VA, and never make a trip home without visiting. I was heartbroken when they were closed during my last trip in January. Visit Alcamo's for the very best meats, home made sausages, cheeses, pastas (fresh, frozen and dried); specialty produce, and the largest selections of olive oil and balsamic vinegars you'll find outside of the Mercato in Florence, Italy! You will find dried Michigan cherries, San Marzano tomatoes, tartuffi neri, anchovies, bread, pastries and way, way more! They sell locally made food, as well as internationally known brands. I regularly make a phone order and have my favorites mailed to Virginia - Alcamo's is that wonderful!
