Most of the food here was very good as was the service (although that could be because we were there at 9:30 on a Monday night; I don't think our server had another party). Nice calming decor too. Began with the unagi appetizer which was terrific. Very flavorful and good fish. The simple salad before the entrees had a terrific sesame/soy dressing; those plates were licked clean! unfortunately, the entrees didn't live up to the same standards. The tuna was mushy and not very flavorful. The accompanying daikon slaw benefited from the spicy sauce the dish was served with. However, the risotto cakes it came with were so crispy and tough, they were hard to cut with a knife! The other entree, hamachi, was better, but the cold soba noodles didn't quite go. The wine list was good and reasonably priced.
Pros: The unagi!
Cons: Entrees missed the mark
