Good lord, they have ""a ton"" of plasma TV's. 10? 12? I dunno. There's also a huge screen with a projector that must be 16 or 17 feet.\r

Great bar food and solid drinks with friendly attentive staff. Don't know what b00pi3flak3s's problem below is/was. Doubt he's ever actually been there, because the cooler doesn't have a ""dj"", nor have they ever (I've been going there regularly for the past 15 years).\r

The Cooler is a ""must"" on gamedays for pregame or after the game. They fence off the parking lot and pour beer from a refridgerated trailor. Early in the season they'll have a grill setup outside as well. Great spot for March Madness as well. The staff is very proactive about getting a particular game on a TV near you if you request it. Given the number of TV's they have, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.\r

The couches they have are fun to sink in to and have a drink at. There are 3 pool tables, and I believe they have all lottery games.\r

For the 2007/2008 football and basketball season, they've been broadcasting a live radio show from there every Tuesday. Fun to go hang out, grab a drink, and watch the coaches talk about the games from the previous weekend. The coaches usually bring a couple of players as well. Joe Giansante comes up with some creative games on the breaks for the fans, and has UofO cheerleaders there to pass out the prizes.\r

All in all, the Cooler has been an institution in Eugene since 1967(?). Highly recommended.
Pros: Great drinks, good food, attentive staff, TONS of plasma TV's
Cons: Restrooms are a bit dated, but aren't by any means bad
