The Roadside was once a secret. Now there are lines. That's for a good reason...the food, service and atmosphere (upstairs) are the best in town. Start with a couple appetizers - the chowder rivals that in New England and the shrimp and grits plate is different (in a very good way!). The cooks take great pride to make sure each plate leaving their grille looks and tastes great. The fish is caught locally. Their sauces are Roadside secrets. The combination of fresh food and unique accompaniments creates a great meal time after time. I suggest you try the special...it's always their best creation! The servers and cooks take pride in the restaurant and go out of their way to make your experience memorable. Generally, servers come an go but I have seen the same faces serving year after year.
