I took my mother out for what was suppose to be a nice quiet mother-daughter dinner tonight 12-19-2008 to the Melon Patch because she wanted to try their all you can eat fish. We get seated, actually we're told to seat ourselves, so we did, the waitress comes out and brings us the menus, and we place our drink order, she brings the drinks, and we wait 10 minutes on our meals to arrive. I ordered the All you can eat Fried Catfish dinner with a loaded baked potato, and she ordered the all you can eat Fried Alaskan with white beans and fries. Food arrives, my fish is greasy, really really greasy the potato has nothing on it but cheese and butter (since when is this a loaded potato?) I get the attention of the waitress and ask her to take the fish back because its too greasy, she takes the plate and out comes the manager with a horrible smart mouthed attitude, not only does he talk to me like I'm 3 he talks to my mother in the most disrespectful manner I've EVER seen. I'm disgusted with this place and their service, the food was horrible, we didn't even eat it, we paid our bill and left and the service was the worst I've ever encountered in my entire life.\r

Don't waste your time or your money on this place, unless you want to be treated like trash and charged an arm and a leg.
