I went to East West Bridals in Secaucus about a month ago. The people were very friendly and helpful, and I thought I found the perfect gown. I had the lady write down the number and I told her I'd be back with my future mother-in -law so she could see it as well. I returned today hoping to have the same amazing feeling when putting on the gown. Unfortunately, this dress didn't have the ""wow"" factor I remembered it having...it just didn't seem right anymore. I am not a picky person, however, I am only going to have one wedding day, and I want to be dressed in something I feel great in. The lady working there snapped at my mother-in-law for no reason at all. I explained that I wasn't 100% sure anymore, and that I wanted to give it a little more thought and she snapped and told me ""I don't know what to tell you"" in a nasty voice. When my mom kindly thanked her and said we needed to think about it she again had a terrible attitude and said ""yea whatever"". I couldn't believe the lack of respect we received today. I walked out of the store with tears in my eyes and I couldn't get over the way we were all treated; it was absolutely un-called for. I ended up driving to North Bergen to Reba's Bridal and found a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown that i ordered! The staff was so helpful and friendly there, and they didn't make you feel like you had to commit to anything. I tried on about five gowns, and found the perfect one for my big day (it's a nicer gown and less money too). I strongly suggest you bypass East West Bridals...they clearly don't care about their customers and make you feel like you are an inconvenience to them....I'm sorry I put myself through such a negative experience.
