My two daughters attend Epworth, and I am constantly amazed at the creative, fun activities that the teachers design so that the students can learn-through-play. Whether they are cooking (applesauce and pancakes are a favorite), building with blocks, doing puzzles, pretending in the kitchen, measuring at the sand table or painting at the easel, they are learning. My 5-year-old was completely ready for kindergarten. The Epworth teachers all have degrees in early childhood education, and are caring and enthusiastic. I would recommend Epworth (located in the First United Methodist Church) to anyone who has preschoolers in Midland County.
