Away from home for a visit, a long-time friend and I went to Blu to rejuvenate and relax with a half-day experience including Massage, Facial, Manicure and Pedicure. We were warmly greeted, and immediately shown into a LOVELY waiting area with fantastic ambience. It was warm and dimly candle lit and had an enveloping scent of lavender and vanilla. The fireplace was glowing beneath a cascade of water on stone. Just lovely. Our facials were competently done (I've had too many to count, and this one was pretty standard) and our massages were perfectly tailored. We were served lunch in the living room at a studio-style kitchen with granite counters and bar stools. A fresh salad, turkey wrap with cranberries, walnuts, cheese and baby spinach...even the desert cookie was fresh! Our manicures and pedicures were in the salon - which was bright and fun and state-of-the-art. Above all, EVERY staff member at Blue was concerned about giving the highest level of customer service - and they did. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident and made every moment enjoyable. I wish I lived close enough to go regularly - but even at a distance - I'm SURE I will go again and again.
