I have a mobile home and had a 1/2 inch PVC elbow (75 cent part) disconnect under the house. Since I was out of state at the time and have someone renting the house I had to find a plumber to replace the elbow fitting. I've done much plumbing before and know that this repair takes no more than 30 minutes, including having to go under the house to get to the piece (10 feet crawl/crouch). Milton Frank was punctual about having a guy at the house within an hour. Once the guy got to the house he said it would cost $250 for him to go under the house (10 feet) to see what's wrong. Then he said it would cost approximately $350 to replace up to 10 feet of pipe, but remember I only needed one 75 cent part replaced. I was absolutely flabergasted over the fee of $600 to replace one tiny part of PVC.
