Because Joe's is the only Spa in the New Milford area accepting The Spafinder Gift Certificate, I tried to use it but to no avail. 1st, Parking is difficult to find if the small lot is full. I made an appt for a simple eyebrow wax and sat on the hard bench for 35 mins. I left telling the receptionist I knew it wasn't her fault and I would come another time. She said I didn't need an appt.; Unless it was a Holiday. So I went back a couple months later in the middle of the week to try again and was told there were no appts. available. I explained that I was told I didn't need one and was then told "usually" that was true but one girl was out and only one was working that did eyebrow waxing. (That's amazing for a Spa to have only one person available.) They tried to convince me to do "Threading" but I had to insist that I did NOT want that and I felt that since this was my third time there, I would not be returning. Bottom line: My time is just as important as anyones, If I make an Appt, it's up to them to accommodate. They made NO attempt to try to accommodate me at all. Just an "I'm Sorry there's nothing we can do". I now go to a Spa in Southbury and am very happy. more
