As a Ponte Vedra resident for 22 years, I have seen many restaurants come and go in this area. The oldest and most successful restaurant is Aqua Grill. I have watched the owners upgrade their decor, with the newest remodel just completed, and the food and ambiance just keep getting better every year.
I have never had a bad meal there, in fact, I barely recall a mediocre meal. Fish is something that not everyone can cook well, particularly at home, and the sauces at Aqua Grill are very unique. It's still offers the biggest selection of menu items for both lunch and dinner with prices that don't make you gasp.
The bar is cozy with satellite TVs and happy hour. Mostly we enjoy dining outside, lakeside, since there aren't many opportunities for waterfront dining left at the beach. If you haven't tried this place, you need to. It's so refreshing to see ownership and a staff that are truly committed to making the customer happy.
