I bought my son his first pair of running shoes here--the fit was great, and the shoes have lasted through Dipsea training, the Dipsea race, and are still feeling good. I would suggest that the store work on its customer service a little. I am not knowledgeable about running shoes, which is why I went to a specialty store rather than to, say, Nordstrom. The guy actually rolled his eyes when I said I had no idea what shoe we wanted! Also, I asked for some socks that would not chafe, and he just gestured vaguely to the wall where socks were and said, ""The socks are over there."" No kidding. However, when I insisted that he show me a good sock in the right size, he obliged. I recommend this store in spite of the service because the bottom line is that we got great shoes and socks that worked for us. I would return and purchase again.

Cons: Not the friendliest for non-runners
