Very bad customer service 8/22/2007

Purchased a solar water fountain online for $129.99 on 8/13/07. My husband and I opened the package on 8/16. It came in many pieces which my husband and I painstakenly put together and found it was a piece of junk, manufactured by Smart Solar. They told me they would not accept a return as we opened the box and set it in the pond and repackaged it to send it back. A customer service representative was rude and ignorant to me on the phone. I asked if we could have a store credit to purchase another item if they wouldn't give us our money back and she said absolutely not and hung up. Cons: Very bad customer service and a flat-out no return policy once you open the package. more
