I can justify the price when the food exceeds my expectations however I cant say this about Republic. The food was good but I've honestly had much better so I cant say it was worth it. We had a party of 8 so they forced us to order from a limited menu which kind of put a damper on our exprience as well. The server was extremely condescending and snooty. Our tab was over $1100 not including tip and you would think he would have provided better service. The lounge upstairs is okay but the club outside is fun (the downside is everyone smokes in the club since it is technically outside) The drinks are strong and the music was good. Next time we will skip dinner and go straight to the lounge.
