One of my favorite Portland restaurants, Pambiche has a good happy hour menu, is open late, and has tons of tasty tidbits that are happily welcomed by this nightowl. I love the empanadas (leek and cheese or potato), and I finish every meal with a cup of their yummy Cuban mocha. I have had better Cuban sandwiches, so I would recommend one of their entrees. Prices are a bit on the pricey side, as compared to other restaurants or perhaps other Cuban restaurants I've tried in other cities, but I'm not complaining. Be prepared for a wait, however, which can be a little inconvenient when the summer months are over. Staff is pretty friendly.
