From start to finish this was one of the most horrible dining experiences we've ever had. From the clueless hostess, to the bartender who was ""cleaning"" the bar top with a foul smelling rag, to the server who didn't want any more customers in her section, to the manager, Tyler, who openened and decanted our wine but never provided any glasses, to the support staff that was rolling racks of glasses, silverware and bus-tubs right through the middle of the dining room, to the absolutely terrible & inedible food.......highly oversalted and overcooked fish dishes, steaks that were not cooked to the requested temperature and a server that offered to do nothing about it. I could go on and on and on!\r
I've been to the other Cohn Group Restuarants. They are all equally bad. Why do San Diego restaurants' feel that if they offer a view, they don't have to do anything else? How does chef Debra Scott maintain her job? Here's a hint Ms. Scott. How about NOT using the Crostini as a garnish on every single plate? Next time do something creative. Switch it up!\r
The Cohn Group of restaurants have done one thing right. They've hired a good PR firm! Here's a list of their restaurants to avoid. Kemosabe, Corvette Diner, Prado, Gaslamp Strip Club, Indigo Grille, Dakota Grille, MIster Tiki, Blue Pointe Coastal Cuisine.\r
We been coming to San Diego since we are in the process of moving here. By now, we've tried every single one of the above mentioned restaurants. I would much rather take a trip to Tijuana and eat a street taco from a roadside vendor than patronize any of the Cohn Restaurants.\r
Do yourself a favor. Stay away from these restaurant. \r
