I've visited Sekai several times. The Sushi is very good. The ambiance leaves ALOT to be desired. Service is VERY slow. We went this evening for dinner (Saturday night) and granted it was a typical East Valley restaurant in a Saturday night - packed. Another couple had to leave because a large insect found its way onto the wall next to their table. Someone in my party had a dirty glass - we found old dishwashing detergent stuck to the bottom of the soda glass. They only brought half of our parties food at a time - about 20 minutes between serving my wife and I, and then my brother in law and sister. No apologies from the staff. Then again, they have never been very conversational or pleasant to deal with. Trust me - if you go here more than once, it's cause the sushi is very good. This should be the ONLY reason for you to go. RA, Kona Grill, Ah-So, all give you better overall service for your buck.
