Had dinner at Cafe Amore on a Saturday night. Got in without a reservation, and was presently surprised by the surroundings, service, food and entertainment. When we arrived about 8pm Roman Holiday was
playing on the big screen (no sound) and a silent film was shown later. Around 9pm a piano and singer (quite good) provided live entertainment. The bar was crowded, but the rest of the restaurant was not. I decided to write a review in hopes that this restaurant will continue to be around for another dinner. We had a very tender calamari for an appetizer and all were pleased with their entrees (the chicken, a prawn linguini, and a scallop dish). Portion size was good as was the presentation. The atmosphere is very romantic and our server was very professional. Give this restaurant a try. They did honor our Entertainment card.
