When my little boy told me that he wanted to take karate lessons for his birthday, My husband an I started looking at schools immediatley. My husband and I went to 6 different schools in the Triangle area and we found Red Sun Academy to be the best school that met our criteria. My son has started taking the kids class and he absolutely adores it. Each child gets individual attention and is coached to reach specific goals. The kids class instructors are wonderful, one is a devoted student and the other is a YMCA youth counselor, so the class is in good hands. The kids are involded in both physical and mental exercises. The children also learn how to handle emergencies (bullies, strangers, etc.) My son has been taking classes at Red Sun for three months and I have noticed a positive change in behavior both at school and at home. There are no contracts or hidden costs, no pressured sales, and they have a freindly and devoted staff. I f you want your child to learn self defense, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!
