We called Zenner & Ritter and three other heating contractors approximately one year after moving in our home. The existing furnace was noisey and didn't seem to be heating properly. Of all the contractors, Zenner & Ritter invested the most time to explain the options - we truly believe they offered options that were well suited to our house rather than just what they were trying to push (they carry a variety of manufacturers). Their prices were comparable and upfront (*a couple contractors did not disclose all of the project costs). In short, we opted for a new two-stage high-efficiency furnace and selected a better grade air filter and humidifier as well. Tax credits and rebates were provided...as well as 0% financing. We can't say enough about the staff...and our basement was left cleaner than when they started. Oh yeah, and the furnace works great too...can't hardly hear it operate even when standing in the same room! Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
Pros: Knowledgable, non-pushy sales staff; courteous and clean field crew
Cons: Installation took a full day - but I guess that is better than rushing it!
