Some of our favorites were Palak Paneer, Nav Rattan Korma; Chana Masala; a deep fried catfish coated in graham flour, Indian spices - very delicious, light and not at all oily; and Chicken Biryani - rice with spices and chicken; lemon rice and white rice with peas. For dessert, they served Mango pudding, Kheer that is creamy rice pudding, and Gulab Jamun - deep fried milk balls in sweet syrup. Everything we tried was delicious. So delicious in fact, that Lou brought the gang down on Thursday, and we returned the following Sunday. Lou's only comment was ""why didn't you tell me about this restaurant before?""
Our general dining rule - don't eat in a strip mall restaurant, and dont do buffets. Sambol is an exception to that general rule. The buffet food was fresh and hot both times we were there and it was very good.
Pros: Reasonable Price, Ample Parking, Not Crowded
