Jims seems to be the hub of Alameda breakfast fare. It's the place to go for weekend breakfast...and I know why. The food is great! Yeah, it can be crowded, and you'll have to wait on weekends to get in (usually no more than 20 minutes or so) but the food quality and value make up for it. Highly recommend the Chili Verde Omelet, pork chops, sandwiches, and any breakfast item. It's family owned and their staff is their extended family. So it's sorta like a home environment in a large diner out of the 40's...with great food. Highly recommended.
