I used Elgin Clock Repair in Naperville for repairing a family heirloom and couldn't be happier with their work or service. This venture started out when I took the antique German cuckoo clock to a competitor who told me that the clock was destroyed, but that they would buy it from me, for parts, for $50. Being a family heirloom, I declined. I then took the clock to Elgin Clock Repair for a second opinion. They told me the clock could be fixed (for about $85 nonetheless) and also that the clock was a very valuable collectible, worth over $9000 were it to go to auction. Needless to say, I trust the professionals here and am pleased as punch with the work done.
