I went to Vinnie's for the first time tonight after having it suggested to me over 5 years ago. The food was excellent: the steak was perfect, the oysters Rockefeller were wonderful and the seared tuna was to die for. My only disappointment was the hollandaise sauce. It was more like a butter sauce, perhaps from a mix. At a restaurant of this caliber I expect the hollandaise to be well made. I wouldn't waste my money on the 'Oscar'. Otherwise it was an excellent meal. It was a Friday night and we didn't have a reservation but were still seated promtly.
