I live in the area but decided to take my boyfriend into town for a concert and then spend the night. The Marlowe was perfect. Even when you first walk in the hotel is warm and inviting. Before the main lobby there is a ""living room"" to relax. We were served wine by the fire before check in. The rooms are beautiful. Spacious and stylish. The beds are unbelievably comforable (w/down comfortors and all!) We ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was good (but service a little slow). After a night on the town we arrived back to a room that had been turned down for us. The staff was extremely friendly. We checked in and out with ease. This hotel is fantastic and I highly recommend it!
