The quality of stores at The Gateway is superb, with quite a bit of variety. The outdoor atmosphere is excellent all-year round (those naysayers frightened of cold or hot weather should move from Utah), providing exercise and a unique shopping experience all in one. Unfortunately, the construction is shoddy, the lighting is horrendous, and the plastic/stucco facade is entirely unappealing. A more post-modern look would have been more suitable. This thing looks like it would be right at home at Lagoon.
