Since I had to work on Thanksgiving serving other people, I was really excited about going out the following evening for a nice dinner. Union was exactly where I wanted to be. The service was gracious yet non-invasive. The wine list was good without being overwhelming in size. The food was fantastic!! Started with anchovy salad & beef tartare. The beef is minced with cornichons & capers and comes with a bit of brioche on the side. The foie gras was heavenly with small chunks of sweet butternut squash. Our entree of scallops was perfectly cooked and delicately seasoned with a yummy celery root puree on the side. I thought the portion sizes were perfect. We had a really great overall experience at Union. I would highly recommend.
