Reading other reviews of Gene's & Jude's makes me realize that I don't take enough advantage of it being less than 10 minutes away. When really hungry, Gene's & Jude's really hits the spot. In a nutshell, Gene's & Jude's is just a great example of how simplicity can equal quality. No tomatos, pickles, or ketchup here. And the french fries are literally piled right on top of the dogs, which is one of the things that makes the place so distinguishing. One more thing I should add is if you're looking for a healthy place to eat, stay away from this place. Gene's & Jude's is like kryptonite to anyone on Atkins, or any other pointless diet. But to those of us who grasp the concept that this is America, and should take advantage of all this food we're fortunate to have, this is your place!
