Venice has gone Hollywood! Trendy, chic, hip, streamlined, etc..this place is all that without the Hollywood attitude. There is a strong presence of the local eclectic bohemian Venice types as well as the 9 to 5er. The crowd mixes very well in the retro style bar/lounge. They have live funky modern jazz music and a jukebox. There is a pool table in the back by the co-ed bathrooms. Drinks are average priced for LA standards & the bartenders are pretty prompt in service. This is a great venue to have an event such as a b-day party or a networking event on an off night. The venue is laidout in a way that even if this place is packed the crowd flows well through the room. If the crowd is large enough then make sure to call in advance to so they are staffed properly.
