We were driving in downtown Chapel Hill after several years of having left the area. What a treat to discover the new La Residence. I had the lamb shanks and foie gras and my partner had the tuna cube and filet. The price was excellent and the food was a true match for their reputation. It was a live music night so the staff allowed us to move to their heated patio for a blue grass band performance at no extra charge. We enoyed a delicious chocolate mousse dessert and a heavenly mocha orange cheesecake. And their was a cafe menu on the patio for those preferring to eat late. We are planning to return for more live music our next trip in town and try the light food on the patio. Try it! You will be impressed!
Pros: Interesting food, Friendly staff, Accessiblity
Cons: None to mention
