I had dinner at Vinnie's last week for the first time and was in for a great surprise. I ordered the escolar from the specials board and my fiancee had the filet. Wow! That is by far the best fish I've ever tasted. I had it cooked medium and blackened. It's very easy to mess up fish by blackening it; but Vinnie's did a wonderful job. The fish was tender and my mouth was watering with every succulent bite! The filet was delicious too. They cooked it perfectly and wrapped in bacon. We also had a side order of garlic mash potatoes that were out of this world. Unfortunately, there was no room for dessert. I'm looking forward to our next trip.
