Beautiful, upscale dining 5/16/2002

The New Yorker is a private club, but it doesn't have a stodgy clubby feel that you might expect from a below-ground restaurant. The bar area is a wonderful, upscale place to enjoy after-work cocktails. The restaurant is a great spot to people-watch, dine on fine food or share a romantic meal. We once enjoyed a fabulous private party in the back room--service is top notch. Pros: Upscale dining Cons: Parking, Membership required more
