This is an unbelievable collection of planes considering that the collection really started in the 1980s. It starts with the SR-71 Blackbird that is parked out front and winds through more than 100 years of flying history.
They are big on military planes (being in a military town), but their are exhibits that focus on early flight to space flight of today. They have cutaway and models and other information. The larger planes are display in the outdoor pavilion.
Expect to spend Several hours going through all the exhibits. If you can't make it to the Smithsonian in Washington, this museum is still very good.
