POOR response 5/15/2018

I live in my 5th wheel, traveling the country to see our national parks. My 2015 Keystone Cougar was damaged and was towed to Perry Legend collision repair in Columbia Missouri early September 2017. I told Bill, the manager, that I live in this fifth-wheel and I needed it back as soon as possible. He told me he had to order parts from Keystone and it was causing a delay. National General Insurance company paid him for my repairs Oct 2017 instead of sending the check to me. In December 2017 I told Bill that I knew that he was not in a hurry to get my repairs done as he had already been paid and so he was just waiting for a slow time. His response was "it's just business". Once I filed a complaint with the South Dakota Department of Insurance, National General Insurance company then contacted bill. He lied and claimed that he could not get the parts in as he had to order them from Keystone. National General employee then verified that he could order the parts directly from the manufacturer and they would be overnighted. She demanded that he do so. Parts were ordered that day and arrive the following day. My rig was completed a week later. Because of their non-caring attitude and poor service, I was forced to expend thousands of dollars for lodging while my rigs sat in their lot for 5 months. These people obviously just care about the money that comes in and make a Big Show of caring for their customers, which they really do not. more
